As a genuine nature tour, we never know what we'll see each day. Whatever it is, you can be sure it won't disappoint!
We like to say that we're in the Bush looking for Australia's own version of the "Big 5"! For us, that's kangaroos, koalas, platypus, emus and wombats. We have a great chance of seeing all of these on tour. We're lucky enough to see kangaroos, wombats and emus on most days that we travel. We also see platypus about 75% of the time, and koalas around 70% of the time.
Along with the Big 5, we also see a huge variety of other animals and birdlife. Wallaroos, wallabies, echidnas, reptiles, possums, gliders, tawny-frogmouths - these animals are all present in the area we travel. Birdlife includes kookaburras, lyre birds, rosellas, cockatoos, parrots and a multitude more.
If there's a particular animal or bird you're keen to see, please make sure you ask your Guide and they'll do their best to help you track them down!
